This address, 232 Royersford Rd, no longer even exists, according to the county. I used to live there as a teen in the '70s. It had been part of the Underground Railroad. The older wooden house was over 100 years old at the time, and the newer brick and stone house was over 80. It was a huge house. There were 5 old glass greenhouses and we added two more plastic ones. We restored the main house, including repointing all the brick and stone, insulating and replastering the whole third floor. And the only thing remaining of it now is this unsightly pile of rubble. Great tax base there...nnThere was no need or cause for them to do this. Limerick Township, in collusion with Limerick Historical Society, has been systematically wiping out every last bit of Limerick's history they possibly can. This is but one example. It's criminal, imo... Vinyl, Tyvek and twigs, that's the Limerick that's left. And I hate it.
