Beautiful! Great for children! Always available parking when I've been there on weekends or weekdays. I haven't gone to any events or had any contact with staff but the land itself is wonderful! Worth a visit anytime!
Newlin Grist Mill, is a peaceful, happy place to walk and explore. Not sure if they are doing the excavations. I always bring a picnic. The scenery i beautiful, rain or shine. One of my happiest memories was standing under trees in rain and hail eating a sandwich!!
We discovered this park a few weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised. It is perfect for families with little kids. There is a creek for skipping rocks and wading, a wetland area with several different species of frogs, turtles etc.nAnd some really nice walking trails that are totally doable for littles (and stroller friendly!).
Loved walking around in the tree farm & hearing the soothing sound of the creek
Very nice spot to take the dogs too and let them jump into some streams. Very easy trails and not overcrowded at all.
