Very disappointed. Moved from Delta to Abbotsford June 2017. Immediately noticed a lack of traffic enforcement and as a result an extremely obvious problem of speeding, red light runners, etc. In Abbotsford. Whatcom Road is a virtual racetrack down AND up the hill. McKee is the same. One fatality on Whatcom last fall, how many more before we see some enforcement. In February 2018, I submitted a traffic complaint to Abby PD and was advised on the internet they would contact me within a couple of days. I have yet to hear from them and am very disappointed in this lack of service. I understand that gang activities eat up a huge proportion of resources, but I want to encourage the Abbotsford PD powers to be to not forget other problems that plague this city. They should already have my phone number on record and I am still waiting for a phone call regarding my concerns.

Worst police department that I ever dealt with. I had to hire a private investigator because Abby PD didn’t certain amounts of evidence of extortion, fraud and identity theft into consideration that the P.I. found. Thumbs down to Chief Bob Rich, Sgt. Murray, Sgt.Klaver, Staff Sgt. Paul Dhillion and Sgt. Murray for their pathetic service !!! Even the Police Commissioner of B.C. is just as pathetic as the Abbotsford Police Dept.

The Abby PD is a fine police department, and I don't think they deserve all of those negative reviews. :)
