Janet is a kind and friendly lady. She's probably an excellent grandma. But a terrible realtor and landlord. Communication is a huge problem. She will not return a phone call, and rarely answers calls as they come in. Simple questions would often take several days to get a response. Contractual deadlines came and went, seemingly unnoticed, then documents came back, days later. We found out 2 days before closing that the title wasn't clean on the house we were buying. We had already signed papers on the house we sold, and ended up homeless due to factors that she would have known well in advance had she ever had a single conversation with anyone at the title company. We ended up renting the house we were purchasing; I advise you to read her rental contract carefully, then rent a house from someone else. My favorite part was the clause that assessed a $50 per day, per vehicle fine for parking on the unpaved driveway. Sure we negotiated away a lot of the unreasonable bits, but we shouldn't have needed to. Keep receipts for your security deposit and any advance rent payments you might make. It's amazing how her office can "forget" huge sums of money until you present your receipts. I don't think she was trying to be dishonest with us, but she's forgetful, disorganized, and seemingly uninterested in doing a job that requires a person to be detail-oriented and vigilant.

Janet and her staff were great to work with. I am in the sales field and they went above and beyond what was expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home or even if your looking to rent, they can help you with that as well. Thanks again.
