It is an amazing place. Takes you back in time. The movie Molly Maguire was filmed there. Unfortunately, we couldn't go into the museum because of the PA state Covid shut down of historical sites. Definitely want to go back when it is open.
Awesome miners museum. Has a nice selection of books on the region and mining. See how our American ancestors lived in the late 19th and early 20th century. That said it could be improved. Like all Pennsylvania museums they are extremely underfunded to the point of criminality by our state politicians.
This place brings a little slice of local history out to play. Amazing time was had by all. Even people we spoke to outside our group.
Lots of history. Cool place. Love the homes.
It's like a time travel back to the 19th century. I remember the Molly Maguires being filmed around here. It would have been better if it was opened up. We would have loved the guided tour. Oh well. We(the wife and I) had a good time anyway. Visit this place. 'Nuff said
