The museum was closed when we arrived, so we walked around and explored the well-preserved ruins until the owner arrived promptly at 2pm and opened the museum for us. The owner was very knowledgeable about local history and gave us a personal tour of the artifacts in the museum collection. Would recommend to anyone looking for an interesting place to visit in Carbon County that is off the beaten path, and for local history buffs.
What happened, i got here and it looked like it's completely closed. I still love exploring history, even if it's been abandoned.
