It looks like a very neat place and I was excited to see it. I arrived during open hours that was posted but note on door adding or by appointment, needless to say it was closed.
Nice piece of history
This is the best place to learn about the fascinating history of Cameron County. I spent so much time looking at lumber era tools and Native American artifacts that I didnt even make it through the first room. So glad that the historical society and local donors make this possible. I'll definitely be returning next time I am in the area.
The Little Museum is little is size, but not in content. Nearly every decade for the last 150 years is detailed in the museum. From the lumber boom of the 1800s, to World War Two, to the 90s. Definitely worth a visit.
