A perfect place for art lovers! My husband & I truly enjoyed our time at Ground for Sculpture. The entrance fee was $18 per adult & tickets must be purchased ahead of time because visitors have a timed schedule. Upon entering the parking lot, you can freely explore. There is a map available online that you can follow or you can explore on your own. The area is quite big to walk around but there are benches available to grab some rest or to simply appreciate the scenery. Too bad the buildings containing more sculptures were closed for safety precautions.nOver all, Ground for Sculpture is a beautiful place to explore, to unwind or just to enjoy your day. I would go back & I would highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem in jerseynNever heard about it until family member told me.nTook a visit there during covid. Parking was smooth as there was a lot of space. Tickets were purchased and reserved ahead of time. Mask is mandatory.nBetter get them quick before it runs out.nnAs soon as we began our walk, we were greeted with gigantic 50 foot statues. The work on them is just so realistic you forget that they were even statues.nnThis garden is so big, you would need to dedicate the whole day to it so plan ahead. Besides small and big statues, there are peacocks nearby. Cafe is kinda of small so they are just filled with mostly snacks. Lots of trees, grass and some statues has nudity.nnOverall great experience.

Lots of interesting sculptures with nice landscaping. Some of them are very modern and abstract, but also some nice realistic creations also. Sculptor Seward Johnson is very involved here. He has a well known sculpture in lower Manhattan called Double Check about a biz man setting on a bench checking the interior of his briefcase. This sculpture was next to WTC during 911, and also in the middle of the Occupy Wall Street. His appearance was drastically changed in both events. The welcome center recreates both of these. Seward is a grandson of one of the founders of Johnson & Johnson.

It was fabulous. Thank you so much and you have a gentleman working there that is 85 years old was originally from Scotland. What a fabulous man to talk to you are so lucky to have him. Please tell him it's Dan from Delaware we spoke for about a half hour and shook hands. He is an asset to your beautiful place.

I celebrated my 21st birthday at Rat's and Grounds for Sculpture and it was one of my best birthdays! I would describe Grounds for Sculpture as a combination of an arboretum and a museum. Such a breathtaking and magical place! Grounds for Sculpture has elaborate and intricately-crafted sculptures which are surrounded by lush flowers and trees. It's a wonderful place to walk around and take pictures. I definitely want to pay another visit here!
