Good alternative to Trenton Transit Center, free parking and it gets you to Center City. The waiting room is very sad and small. Before you go you must know there is no bathroom, just a porta-potty outside. Would love to see SEPTA put some money into this Station.

End of the line for West Trenton Line. For those trying to get to airport the best way to connect with Mercer county airport is through Lyft which will run you about $20

This train station is so convenient if you're going into Phila & its cheap to park. It's under repair at the present time but still operational.

Very, very sad state of repair. Platform irregular. Waiting room has broken windows and graffiti. Roof of steps to street (not parking lot) is failing.nnThe main station building is no longer in use. All passengers arrive and depart from parking lot side.nnThe main Trenton station is on a more frequent line to Philadelphia and has Service to Northeast Corridor stations and light rail to Camden. That is a better alternative unless the destination is Jenkintown or Temple University.

This station is practical as far as the service to Philadelphia. There used to be service to Newark Penn Station ...until 1981. Currently the station is living a time from a bygone era and it proves to be impractical for the remaining ridership that uses the station. For parking you have three choices: Park on the side of Railroad Ave where someone can side swipe you, park in the gravel or park on road filled with relatively deep potholes. The platforms are low-level and very uneven which I've seen makes it bad for people (mainly elderly) getting on and off the train. The waiting room is available during the day however provides no air conditioning and the state of that room is quite poorly and there's no ADA accessibility whatsoever.nAnd because it's West Trenton there have been multiple occasions that people have gotten this station confused for Trenton Transit Center over in downtown Trenton. While you could take the 608 bus to Hamilton, it's very impractical as well as a waste of time to get to New York. Some people as well as SEPTA could say that someone as unfortunate should make sure they go on the Trenton Line to get to New York and to know the lines better. But in reality once you know the West Trenton line, it begs the question on why there isn't New York service.nThe Reading line (New York Branch) used to boast the quick and elegant Crusader that competed with the PRR (current day Northeast Corridor) to take people between Philadelphia and New York. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad also ran it's Washington-Jersey City train the Royal Blue while Central Railroad Of New Jersey had its Philadelphia Flyer. The line itself was like a smaller scale Northeast Corridor that was halfway electrified. It had transfers to the CNJ to the Lehigh Valley once the line met with the CNJ Main in Bridgewater.nThe state the railroad and station is in today is unacceptable by the standards it once was which is in part of SEPTA not being able to travel into New Jersey (for obvious reasons) and NJT's West Trenton Line still merely a concept that hasn't gotten any farther than the map it was conceived on. In other words, there will be a long way before improvement ever happens.
