William W. H. Davis Elementary School

I went here from Kindergarten to 4 Grade. I went before it was torn down and redone. As a school, it's great. The staff was so nice. When I went I had a few problems, but that's all in the past. It is a beautiful school, and it is a good idea to enroll your child here.

It is my most sincere opinion that a parent should really think twice before sending their child here. Teachers are completely rude to sick kids (sniffles, cough, allergies). The teachers say “that’s disgusting” and humiliate the child in front of the entire class. In addition, they put kids w/ ADD and autism in regular classrooms so who can blame the teacher for being so overwhelmed. These children will throw a desk across the room and the teacher will just tell the student to hide under their own desk. Aren’t these special needs kids supposed to be in their own class where above average teachers are involved. Isn’t that why my Southampton school taxes doubled? There is absolutely no discipline in the school and the principal and her followers are taught to “coddle the bully”. In fact, they sent out a flyer on this from NOVA. What a joke! What happened to 3 strikes

So, my sons weren't allowed to wear Frankenstein makeup or a slenderman mask, but k-5 girls can dress like strippers and call it Harley Quinn? Who is a clown. BTW. A costume that was verboden per the email Davis sent out. Despicable. Our potential moving from the district doesn't bother me anymore.

Fabulous school, I couldn't ask for a better elementary school experience for my girls.
