Doyle Elementary School

Great School and basically great everything else, But one thing... it’s the Cafeteria food when you buy lunch. It’s not good

My son went to this school from 2nd grade til 5th grade, his first year there he fell off monkey bars and broke his wrist in which needed surgery the nurse called me I had to go in and take him to er well he was out of school for 21 days , the following year my son had gotten a concussion and needed to be out of school for 10 days and he as well had flu this year , well the principle got a bad taste for Logan and said he had a attendance problem wrote up a truancy contract yup for a 8 or 9 year old really and every excuse was accompanied by a physician order well in 5th grade we were moving my son had to get his tonsils and adenoids out so it was a rough year but all excuses had physician orders well he was in gym class he fell on the wrist he broke in 2nd grade he went to the nurse in which was the same nurse the nurse said here's a ice pack go back to class well he went back a few hours later she said here's Tylenol my son said can you call my mom the nurse proceeded to tell my son if you think this is a way out of school this is a trip to er well my son went back a third time still no call to me I pick him up from school and he's abt in tears saying his wrist hurt well moral of story is his wrist was broken and the school did not call me yes I understand she does not have xray eyes but when u don't see a obvious issue and the child is complaining of so much pain u call the parent so yeah not a good situation

Great school with great teachers and academics. The school is older but is well maintained.
