The Michener Art Museum is a local treasure. I am consistently impressed by what the dedicated staff are able to pull off from exhibitions and programs to events and community initiatives. I've been lucky to experience this museum from childhood to adulthood. The Museum's art classes helped to form my passion for the arts at a young age and the institution as a whole has made a remarkable impact on my hometown for many years. We're lucky to have such a wonderful museum in Doylestown.nnThe recent Rising Tides exhibition is another beautiful installation in a long line of fascinating experiences. Well worth a visit.
Small collection of mostly Bucks county school of artists. Some pretty spectacular works. Current special exhibit on climate change is outstanding. Worth a visit.

This was my first trip to the Michner. I really enjoyed it. The museum is small. The collection is from local artists. They had some interesting pieces of art. The style of art is impressionist, realist, and abstract.
