A hidden treasure of a museum. The staff passionate about history and loves to share their knowledge. Can get hands on with some of the tools as well. Great place to visit with the family.
If you are interested in 19th century textiles, woodworking tools or history, then this is a destination. The views around it are spectacular as well
Great little living history site. Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent place for local history and textile (thread, fabric and clothing) manufacturing history. They have looms, spinning wheels, and many other tools used for processing fabric making materials. They even grow a patch of flax for demonstrations! Parking is across the road at the Grange Hall.
I went to Home Textile Museum to take down the ingress resistance portal. I wish there was a Wi-Fi signal. Other than that it's a pretty place. I left a rock near the big tree out front.
