We're new to the neighborhood and looking for a great butcher like back home. Sadly, it's not here. They had a sparse selection. The butcher offered no helpful advice. And he complained about overwhelmed he was (with zero people in the store).
My first experience at Carne was a phone call in December. The butcher who I chatted with gave me a great run down on the cut of meat I was asking about. I was happy to have some schooling about my meats. He told me their ham was the best I would ever have and then gave me a very rough idea of how he typically cooks his. This ham was BY FAR the best I’d ever had and I’ll be hard pressed to go elsewhere in the future. I’ve gone to the shop since the Covid pandemic with my 3yo (single parent house means he had to go with me) and we both wore our masks. It was very safe. No touch. No hassle. No crowds. Just love and meat. Thank you for bringing the very best quality to our community Carne!
This place is amazing! We recently moved out of the Bellingham area and I miss Carne. Great service, quality products, reasonable prices. Tasty beef ud83eudd69ud83eudd24 Also, their beef jerky is out-of-this-world.
Excellent meat shop with knowledgeable and helpful staff. The quality of the meat is second to none and the prices are fair for what you are purchasing. Sign up for loyalty rewards and save over time while eating top quality meats. I personally enjoy ribeyes, pork ribchops, bacon, flap meat, ground meat, and various steak cuts. Delicious high quality meat from a local source.
