Went on a Friday to discover that you need to make reservations for a guided tour. Despite that, the nice woman at the center described the area and said she could show us the school house there.nIt was very interesting and she provided us with lots of interesting stories. I recommend making reservations to see it all.
Awesome place!! With a great show of the German Culture!! A must see of you love local history!! :)
This place is probably one of the most underrated and unknown gems in our area. Perhaps I’m biased because I got my minor in Pennsylvania German Studies here, but it really is a one-of-a-kind place. This museum is so important because the Pennsylvania German culture is waning but guys like Patrick Donmoyer just might be the new generation to bring back awareness of our culture.
A wonderful experience. Fun day Easter on the farm.
29th annual summer Old time Ploy Boys event held here. Wonderful place. If you get a chance, take a tour of the old school house and farm house. Amazing history!
