Totally unique powerful Reading locomotives, caboose , crane and rolling stock. ALCo Century, RS-3, GE U-boat and EMD attracted my historical interest. Wonderful artifacts of a magnificent fallen flag mighty railroad!
Very detailed large model train display. Other interesting rail history items on display. Small gift shop. Hands on play area for kids.
Loved this museum! Great place to go for history on trains, with a focus on the Reading area. We were lucky to have Fred as our tour guide/historian for an outside tour of the train cars, full of wonderful information. Great for kids and adults and a very reasonable tour price.
Great museum, focused on Reading Railroad and it's influence on industrial development of the region it served. Friendly staff, outside yard tour, and inside exhibits. Check website for special events etc. A good way to spend a few hours of a weekend day.
Very educational. Nice folks with lots of knowledge to share.
