The salon was extremely hygienic and how safe they made it to come in. I especially appreciated their thorough check-in process to ensure safety. Ashley is an amazing stylist. My hair is very difficult for most stylists but she was able to give me exactly what I wanted and really took the time and care to give me an amazing cut. I love this salon!

Had a great experience at Kaur Lounge. My hair is very finicky so I knew it was going to be a challenge. My stylist was very professional and sweet made me feel super comfortable in her chair. She never did anything she thought would be damaging or not up to standard without consulting me. Super happy I found this place and will consider it home for all my hair needs. Both my stylist and the owner went above and beyond to get me to my hair goals. Thanks Kaur Lounge!

I made an appointment ahead. The owner was very nice, answered my questions and said she could work with me on a new style. About 2 hours before the appointment I started throwing up so I called to cancel. The person I talked to said I would have to pay 1/2 the charge for the appointment since I was cancelling the same day. I offered to come in sick, but we decided that wasn't a good idea. I received another call a couple of days later wanting my credit card to charge for the, missed appointment. I again explained why I couldn't make it and told her I didn't think I should have to pay. I asked to have the owner call, but haven't heard from her. That was last Thursday. It's now Monday. I had never heard of having to pay a charge last minute cancels from the original call to make the appointment. Everyone should be informed of things like that ahead of time.

I can not recommend a better salon than Kaur! Caren and her staff are all professional, and amazing at what they do! I live in Seattle and make the commute up to Bellingham for my hair appointments, absolutely worth it. I have been to several salons in Bellingham and Seattle and none of them come close to what the stylists at Kaur can do! Ashley installed the IBE extensions and I am absolutely in love. I've done tape ins for a couple years now and let me tell you, these are a game changer! So much easier on my hair and can barely feel them, and they look very natural!

3rd Appointment with Cheryl for Partial highlight.$ 190.00 plus 20 cash TipnPricey ...for Partial foil and Toner.nOne highlight job, Cheryl did Great.nThen 2 other appointments had highlight service, hair was too dark and brassy, she acknowledged too dark and wrong color. Breakage in front from too much bleach or improper technique.nCheryl corrected and did redo. Looked fine.nPut my faith in Cheryl again, assumed she kept records and would have no repeat problems and valued me as a client. I was wrong. Took photos and sent message within the hour after service. I went in next morning in person to have Cheryl or Owner Caryn look to see what we could correct. Neither of them would even take 2 minutes to look at my hair in salon or come outside to me.nUsed Covid as excuse. Argumentative and no concern for my time or dissatisfaction. Now, Cheryl and owner Caryn, refuse to credit my card back and will not acknowledge my concerns.nI will seek out a professional stylist and get my hair corrected and lightened.nI have requested a refund from Kaur. Cheryl refused prior and today left me a voicemail saying no she will not allow me to come in to correct!!nI will repost, hoping they demonstrate business ethics and do the right thing. Shocked the owner Caryn, spoke to me so disrespectful and accusatory.nHope this helps another potential client from the Distress and expense and most importantly, have a better Hair experience, and not deal with their lack of Ethics and Honesty.
