For Bedford museum is filled with interesting stories. There is history from the region, the colonial. And more. It is a great place to while away a few hours with your family. Take the time to really examine the exhibits and talk to the staff. It is well worth the visit.
Small but lovely French and Indian War Museum.
Had a good time learning some Pennsylvania History. Handicap accessible. Alot of local artifacts and even a covered wagon. Several flintlock rifles, musket balls several arrow heads, maps and everything has great descriptions of their uses. I'll post some pics when I get Wi-Fi. Lots to see with a nice little gift shop.
Artifacts are nicely displayed and there are helpful bits of information to go with them. We loved the original carriages, many donated by local families who still live in the area.
Very nice, lots to see.
