In the historic Anderson House, the house itself is amazing with fireplaces in each room and the old bank vault in what used to be the bank adjoining next door. The display on the main floor was vibrant and well spaced. Local art and crafts were available for sale in the gift shop. They were changing exhibits upstairs during our visit. Also there are restrooms available on each level and a coat hanging area.
We just attempted to visit. Hours posted are obviously not observed by staff. We parked, got our daughters scooted from the lift on our car, drove it up the ramp to find door locked, no personnel on hand to let us in.?????nSmall town Saturday, shop local?? We would have if we could have done so. Very disappointed.
