Knowledgeable docent, historical building, incredible examples of american weaving, extensive collection of Coverlets. I'm considering a year membership and don't even live in the area... definitely worth the visit.

Cute little museum. This was my second time here. A nice place to check out on a rainy day. A few rooms with gorgeous coverlets in them. It's not overwhelming but not too short. I'd say about an hour if you want to read the signs. If it's your first time there they'll give you a brief tour in the first room and explain how the coverlets were made and their history in America. They change out their exhibits every year or so.

It's located in an old school and the building is in need of upkeep. Went through entire museum in under 30 minutes. Beautiful old pieces!!!! Was a little pricy at $10.00 per person.

Beautiful coverlets and incredibly knowledgeable staff. The gentleman in the office explained everything we wanted to know about the dye process and how much the coverlets must have cost when they were made. The colors on display and the patterns were absolutely astounding. I also really enjoyed the old school it was in.

WOW! What a great place. The coverlet collection is amazing. Also a great collection of spinning wheels, looms, and yarn winders. Be sure to have Laszlo give you his talk. We even got to go in the back where they were fixing up some old looms. A delightful visit.
