So much history in a very quaint environment. Outstanding log house as well.
Super cool, loads of history and well kept. Check it out while walking through the gorgeous town!
This is worth more than one visit. They have taken the old railroad station and have made it a showplace and gathering place. The Genealogy Center is in the basement, and events celebrating Beaver County history are held here and on the first floor.nnThe elegant first floor is available for special occasions. The lawn and gazebo outside the station is a favorite place for warm-weather weddings and photo sessions. The History Museum in the smaller building on the station grounds is delightful, as are the log cabin and cottage on the edge of the grounds.nnAn added pleasure is seeing a train chugging along the PL&E railroad bridge on the Ohio River and flying by the station.
What a pretty place! I was just visiting a friend & she took me for about an hour walk in the area around this place. Gorgeous! Nicely manicured lawns. Beautifully planned landscaping. Well kept houses. I wanted to stay.
It was a very interesting train depot I loved it
