Very cool place...
Spent an hour here on a guided tour by one of the volunteers, learning the history of the town. There are some amazing nuggets of early labor relations history as well as fire services that Vandergrift was influential in.
Very special place. Visited last month with my husband and sons. Called Vandergrift home until 1957. Found my signature in an old Spectator. Enjoyed every minute we spent there thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Ferrante who were wonderful tour guides.
Provides a great overview of where my family came from.
I learned some very interesting things about my home town! The tour was great, and the tour guide was fantastic! I will be going back again!
