SLC Realty was a great place to rent from while I was at Pitt. Scott went out of his way to help with any issues we had. Maintenance request were always taken care of within 24 hours. They kept their properties in great condition and rent was affordable. All bedrooms were fully furnished which took a lot of stress of moving into and out of the house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving to the Oakland area.

SLC realty and my landlord Scott were great. They treated me and my roommates respectfully and promptly fixed any issues that arose. Definitely recommend this company if you are looking to rent.

Excellent experience. I had rented several apartments in the Shadyside/ Oakland area in the late 80's and 1990's in my younger college days, so I have had multiple experiences renting in the are.nnNow as a parent of a college age student, I was prepared for a less than desirable experience. I could not have been more wrong. SLC was responsive to every phone call from my daughter. The Maintenance Man was Fabulous. Scott in the office was professional, friendly and more than willing to accommodate.nnIf you are a parent and setting your young adult up for an apartment, I highly recommend SLC.!!

I rented from SLC Realty for the first year I moved off campus. My parents and I were exceptionally pleased. Scott, our real estate agent through SLC, was always helpful and would go out of his way to make sure that my roommates and I were happy and comfortable in our apartment. Everytime I called the company, I was greeted pleasantly and connected to Scott right away. Even the maintenance people were helpful and nice. Whenever we had a problem (which were few and far between because the apartment was so nice), Barry would come over immediately and fix it with no problem. We had a lot of outdoor steps leading up to our apartment, and every day during the winter, they were completely salted and shovelled. I could not have asked for a better experience with a rental company. My parents and I would happily recommend them to anyone who is looking in the Pittsburgh area!
