We worked with Pia Colucci as a buyer's agent. Working with Pia was such a pleasure and she truly made the home buying process as easy as possible. She was an excellent buyer's agent and really ensured our interests were represented during any negotiations with the sellers. Her attention to detail, communication, and responsiveness was so great. Not recommended! This broker was lost in the sauce and the agent I worked with was working harder to get a check then to make my home sale viable! The agent withheld information from me regarding closing dates and even falsely changed the closing date; she suggested it was being changed by the lender, which was a LIE! Additionally the agent was very unprofessional in my eyes; she told me all about how the buyer was in hard times, asked me to offer my year old home inspection, asked if the buyer could use my garage instead of renting a storage unit again, asked to pay rent for the buyer if I let them move in before closing. This buyer could have turned into a “squatter” and my finances could have suffered more. Needless to say my agent encouraged me to help someone which would have caused me to possibly have my pipes, new appliances, and other home materials stolen! The agent was just to involved personally and it cost my family $6,000 plus dollars! Buyers, seller, dual agents and anyone just beware. Read your contracts, don’t let these agents push you around and question if they have your best interest in mind! I recommend that the broker be more involved with her newer realtors and provide valid guidance. As a seller I was not interested in providing my home to a charity case nor was I interested in wasting money due to my agent trying to play the field as a dual agent.

I have worked alongside Mark and Jill Portland at RE/MAX Realty Brokers for years and I can't compliment them and their service enough. Although I have yet to purchase a home in the area, I know from my experience that I could trust them to find me the perfect home and they'd do the same for you.
