Providence Heights Alpha School

I have 2 children at Alpha School. The school has excellent engaging academics plus an incredibly nurturing environment where my kids are gaining confidence, curiosity and a sense of responsibility to others. They LOVE going to school. They have PE 2x a week including weekly swim lessons, Robotics, computers, Spanish, Art and Music in addition to great innovative curriculum for other subjects. The afterschool program is well staffed, has lots of activities for the kids and also provides homework help. My kids love it.

Alpha is an exceptional Catholic school with a strong focus on academics. My daughters are happy, engaged and challenged. The teachers and administration have addressed the few concerns we've had with openness and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for all students. The many after-school enrichment activities offered on-site are the icing on the cake.

I cannot say enough great things about Alpha. My daughter has attended Alpha since kindergarten and she is now in 7th grade. The school, simply put, is amazing. The school has done incredible things for our daughter way beyond the things taught in the classroom. Yes, the academics, unquestionably, are first rate, extremely rigorous and push the kids to excel academically but, it is all the intangibles that sets Alpha far apart from all other schools and institutions. Besides the benefits of small class size and the individualized attention which flows from that, as well as religious teachings and undertones, the staff is extremely caring and compassionate. Alpha is a very close knit community where the faculty and staff truly care about the students and go the extra mile to insure their safety, protection and innocence. It's the strong morals, values and ethics Alpha preaches and strives to instill in our children on a daily basis that helps to create, develop, mold and shape our children into individuals of strong moral character. I have experienced, again and again, including with our daughter, that Alpha children grow up with grace, confidence, respect, gratitude and who are extremely compassionate, caring and humble. It is these valuable qualities and life's lessons that Alpha instills in our children that simply do not exist within other similar learning institutions. It is these valuable qualities that exist within Alpha that makes Alpha a very special place for our children.

After sending two kids over the last 9 years there are so many amazing things I could say about this wonderful school. The academics are rigorous but fun. Small class sizes and differentiation with a true dedication from everyone who works here. My son just finished 8th grade and has tested into Honors and AP classes in 9th grade. More importantly, he is confident, organized, self-motivated, polite, and kind. Both of my children are the very best versions of themselves and are truly 'Provident People'. Parent volunteering is always welcomed

The Alpha School has long had a strong, hands-on science program, and in recent years has done even more to bring technology and true experimentation into the classroom, as well as challenge students to think creatively and critically. STEM and Robotics have regular places in the curriculum and there are a variety of after-school programs exploring these as well. We've also found it to be a warm, supportive community with a culture of service and respect for others.
