Olympic View Group

If you are wanting to be fairly considered for housing I would strongly advice against using this company. My wife and I were inquiring about a duplex for rent out of Elma WA, when the real estate agent said she would need to speak with the next door neighbor who is retired on whether or not they are ok with a 3 month old living next door. They are concerned the crying might become a problem for the next door neighbor. Now I am not sure if they are aware of how many laws they are breaking by discriminating against families, but by the Fair Housing Act of 1968 they cannot deny housing to families with children under the age of 18 years old based on the possibility of annoying other tenants or causing nuisance. When I asked if I could have the home owners information to inform them that they are being represented by a company that discriminates the real estate agent denied me this information. I hope the public reads this before considering renting from this indecent company. And shame on you Olympic View Group for making my family feel unwelcome based on the possibility of a newborn doing what they do, crying.nnAnd to whomever owns the 2 bedroom 1 bath 1 car garage duplex with the address 420 on the door that is currently being renovated (the real estate agent mentioned the sons name was Brad) you are being represented by an unjust company.

Carl and Judy, and family, have represented our rental for many years now. They, and their staff, are top notch.nnOlympic View Group has gone to bat for us when needed, and quite frankly saved us money (and angst).nnMostly though, it's their friendly and professional service, coupled with years of practical experience, that has kept my tenants respectful. Part of this is due to Olympic View Group's ability to find the best tenant for you, the property owner.nnI wouldn't still be in the rental business (I'm a senior citizen) if Olympic View Group were not assisting me.nnI highly recommend Olympic View Group.nnJohn Knold

Judy was horrible to me, asking me personal questions about my service dog training and certification of service dog. Which I provided. And she never got back and won’t return phone calls. I think the realtor board will be interested her ethics of conduct.

Don’t rent from them. Their properties are terribly maintained and getting them to fix anything is a massive pain only reason I even rented with them is I was between jobs and they were willing to accept rent up front as I didn’t have pay stubs. Judy is rude at best and incompetent at worst. They never follow up on any problems and never come back even when they say they will do it. Like the guy who said he would call me back about ceiling light two weeks, haven’t heard a peep. My heater went out on Sunday, called on Monday. They didn’t call me back tuesday and still haven’t Wednesday. Be interested to see what regulators have to say about that. Save your money and go somewhere else unless you were desperate like me.nn5/8 Judy never called me back ever, had to go in person to get some answers, great secretarial work there. Some updates for anyone looking to work with them in the future. Apparently after our talk on monday Judy sent a guy by but didn't call me or tell me and acted like it was my fault I wasn't home (sorry I have a job and actually do it). Then she gave me attitude asking if I wanted her to constantly be calling me, no Judy I want you return voicemails I leave you. I also want to set up a date and time to have a repair done not wake up in the morning to text that he might be by later with no time expected. First and only rental company to not try and schedule repairs with renters in advance. Sorry Judy I expect a secretary to do her job and call client back within a week and actually inform me in advance that I'm getting my stuff fixed.n5/8 later that day, turns out I wasted most of my day sitting at home because nobody bothered to inform me that the maintenance got into a full day job and wouldn't be coming by. Real professional.

Two e-mail requests and two phone calls on a property. None were answered. When I did finally get through, Judy made assumptions about my needs for this property based on the fact that it was just 2 people. She was very negative and couldn't be bothered. Based on this representation of Olympic View Group, any needs on the rental once moved in would be a struggle. I would not use or recommend this company.
