Wonderful! small yet beautifully maintained love it.
I have been to the Museum of Flight and The Flying Heritage Combat Armor Museum and even though they have more aircraft they couldn't measure up to the great experience I had there! It's one thing to look at the outside of the Museum's aircraft but it's another to go inside the aircraft and to me that's what makes all the difference, and that's why I love this place they also have very generous prices. (Me and my dad both went in and all he had to pay was 4$ for my himself and 0$ for me)
Great place to visit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all aircraft. They have plenty of stories to talk about. Volunteers are welcome. The air show is yearly in the summer. Open Tuesday through Friday 11-5 closed on Monday. They sometimes have special events. Book a wedding. The gift shop is pretty good
Located at Olympia Airport. Parking out front. Mostly tended by volunteers. Interesting hangar with local nostalgia. A lot of work has gone into establishing this facility so drop by and drop in a donation. Enjoy a step back into history before we lose it.
Docent was amazing spending time with our 12 year old grandsons explaining things. Several aircraft for kids to climb in and experience. Interesting displays along the walls to.look at. A small museum, but well worth the visit
