Stepped off the train here on my way back to Chicago, seems like a decent station

Yes, like everyone says it's an awful station. However, you don't have to stay here. Assuming you have a layover, then go for a walk! In 5-20 minutes, you can walk everywhere in downtown Pittsburgh. Or, the Westin is super close and has a bar/restaurant, and you can just hang in its lounge and use the free wifi.

I gave it a 1 it is freezing cold in here and have a 3 hr. layover all they have are vending machines with junk food the escalator does not work didn't work last year either they have steps and a small elevator.Come om Amtrak get woth ot and fix things.
