We went for the annual festival of trees (Christmas) and discovered that the McKeesport Regional History Center was open. The festival of trees was really nice, over 100 trees decorated by local business' and organizations.nIf you are interested in regional history, the history center really has a lot of interesting displays with information on a wide variety of subjects.nThis made for a very enjoyable evening family outing.
Hope to make it a holiday tradition. Really enjoyed looking at the thematic Christmas trees. Difficult to choose a clear winner with so many choices. Should consider selling handmade ornaments.
From the little one room school house to the mills..... This local gem provides some amazing visuals into our areas past.... Enjoy a visit... Do some ancestry research.... Come to any of the numerous events.

Anyone who appreciates history would enjoy visiting. McKeesport has a lot of stories to share from a vibrant past.
