The only reason I'm rating my experience as 1 star is because the don't have negative star ratings. I can honestly say I've never before experienced the level of contempt for the customer I experienced over the last 2 days. I have rented condos in Moab for several years. I contacted moabrents in 2013 and was so impressed with how quickly they responded, that I wanted to give them my business even if there were cheaper options available. I contacted them on 1/10/15 asking about rates for my group. Cathy again replied very quickly with 4 options. Three condos at $225/night and a fourth at $250/night. My group chose one of the $225/night units, so I sent a reservation request to Cathy on 1/18. On 1/19, I received my reservation confirmation, which was great except the rate was now $250/night. Obviously, I questioned the rate increase. The response I got initially was fairly pleasant, but didn't change and there was no explanation other than "that's the price". I'm one of those people that believes a person should honor their commitments, so I asked why the rate was increased. I then forwarded them the original quote. I'll paraphrase the next email I received as "Take it or leave it". I responded that I was disappointed with response and asked that my reservation be cancelled. This morning, I received a reply from the forwarded original quote. This is the entire content of that email: "Sorry Cancel or not! I have already had others looking for 6- bed condo". At this point, I'm thinking someone at moabrents is simply misreading my emails or having a bad day. I called the office to try to prevent reading any emotion into the text. Wow, what a mistake. Connie answered the phone and pretty much started yelling as soon as I identified myself. I asked her one time to please calm down so we could talk, but that didn't work at all. The call ended with her screaming "6 emails! Come on!" and she hung up. I managed to say about 15 words during that entire "conversation". I'm sure others have had great experience, but this was the worst experience I've ever had with any business. I'm still a bit in shock over the whole thing.

I have stayed at moab rents and had a great experience..they are always clean and great customer service, so I was surprised to hear the negative reviews about Cathy and Connie,I know both of them and yelling at a customer is not one of them..
