I want to go to this museum for one thing & one thing only.. And that is to spend time looking, staring & put myself in the presents of Mr. Fred Rogers' puppets. Especially Daniel. I grew up trying to watch every episode.. I miss it all. Much love from Wichita, Kansas. 143 Mr. Rogers!!
We had a BLAST here! This place is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately we don't live in the Pittsburgh area or we would visit all the time!
We’ve visited here a few times, and while it’s a great place to stop by when visiting the city, we didn’t seem to think there was much difference from the last time we had been there. The exhibits and activities were the same. The staff was polite, but not overly ambitious to engage the kids in the extracurricular activities. Some of the things laid out had missing pieces or instructions. Overall, it’s a good museum, but it’s so hard to give five stars when Strong Museum of Play holds such a high standard.

Well set up. Parent friendly. Good nutritious food options. Art room could have had a little clearer instructions, but otherwise great. Each room is very unique and interesting. Good for kids of different ages. 2 and 4 year old were very well entertained. Loved the ability to see the entire room from the parent chairs. I could feed my baby while watching the other two. Thanks! Would definitely recommend.
