Prior to leaving for work this morning, I heard a weird, whooshing noise coming from somewhere inside the house. When I stepped into the basement, I spotted the problem immediately.nnA huge river of water was streaming from underneath our water heater, which was replaced a little over six months ago. Fearing the worst, I Googled “water heater repair Pittsburgh” and quickly glanced over the listings. Among the half dozen or so displayed, only one was close to a five star rating...A Pittsburgh Plumber (the one star, as it turns out, is actually a rave review that, for some reason, has only one star provided).nnI spoke with the owner, Dave, who informed me that he was on another job but would be over to look at my problem as soon as he was finished. True to his word, I did receive a call later and he informed me he was on his way.nnI found Dave to be completely knowledgeable and professional and he was able to replace our water heater and even suggest a new size which was optimal for our space and needs. In terms of the work done and the amount charged, he was more than fair!nnThough I hope I don’t have any emergency issues in the near future, I would not hesitate to call Dave at A Pittsburgh Plumber again. In fact, I’m considering a remodeling project on a downstairs bathroom that would involve intricate plumbing alterations and I’ve already let Dave know that when I’m ready, I will give him a call.
