Very interesting place to visit. However, The amount of places your allowed to see at Carrie Furnace gets smaller and smaller each year, yet price of tours remains same or increases. Everything is roped off or entire buildings shut down.

Awesome place. Learned a lot about the steel mills. Love this town and the transformation it's going through.
This historical building was saved from the wrecking ball and preserved. It was the union headquarters during the Battle of Homestead in 1892.
