We rented a townhouse on Murray Ave from this company for one year. It started all nice but ended not so well since they charged us unreasonable fees after we moved out. We had a good relationship with the property manager after we moved in. However, not long before we moved out, they hired a realtor from Berkshire Hathaway to manage the property instead. This realtor tried to charge us hundreds of dollars for damages that were there before we moved in, and $700 for carpet cleaning, saying there was pet smell. We actually cleaned the carpet using a rental cleaning machine, since the previous manager told us that was fine. The carpet was very old and already smelled before we moved in. Tenants before us lived there for five years with two cats. We thought the landlord knows about this, but the realtor blamed all that to us and was very rude and just ignored whatever we said. Unfortunately, there weren’t much we can do since we do not the time and they have our security deposit. We managed to have the fee for damages taken off the bill, but not the carpet cleaning. Also the townhouse is not well-insulated so the electricity bill in the winter is about $500/month. And this is when we set the thermostat to 56 F.
