I would like to thank the officer who while on my way home on 7-14 which I was detoured due to a road closure because of a hazmat spill. Took the time to explain how I could get around the closed streets to my home.(not easy) I'm new to the area and was stressed. Didn't catch his name but really appreciate his patience and help . Thank you to that officer.

(This is more for the city overall, not just the police force) My family has lived in or near Reserve Township/Millvale for nearly 100 years. Full disclourse, I've been born and raised in Cali. though I throughly love to visit Millvale. Much of it is throwback to time pasted- cobble stone streets, iconic Lincoln's Drug Store, Lipards Mills (where my grandfather worked) solid brick buildings, gorgeous churches- though not well kept. Honestly, this little town has a ton, A TON of history. If you ever get the chance to visit, please do, look at through what would be during it's time of grandeur. And as for police force, they are present and truly take care of this little burg.
