Not a fan of Lee but his headquarters was an interesting historical experience
A must see. For the longest time this property was privately owned and part of a restaurant, gift shop motor court type of mess. It is a treat to be able to visit this historic site as it appeared in the 19th century.
Incredible return to it's war time state.nnFive stars for finally restoring and displaying this to our public, a far cry, from the eye sore it was before while ran as a hotel.nnAbsolutely in love and so appreciative to these efforts.nnA must stop location while exploring Gettysburg Battlefield.
Amazing reclamation on this property.
The restoration of the site is awesome. Keep in mind the days and times where the building is open to the public are limited. Well worth the stop to see.
