Shriver House Museum

I've been here so many times and i love it so much I keep coming back. I love the tour and the history. The staff is always super friendly. Great place and a must when I'm in Gettysburg!

Great tour and tour guide! (Miss Debra) filled with history and great artifacts (that were found in the walls!) without being drawn out and possibly boring. Price point was also nice, not even $10 per person. If you are tall, mind your heads!

Miss Deb took us on a guided tour of this wonderful historical home. She was accurately dressed in period clothing and gave great detail into the events that occurred in this house during and after the battle of Gettysburg. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and their gift shop which had several books with even more information (we bought 3) and memorabilia of the time.

My husband and I honeymooned in Gettysburg, and we ALMOST didn't go into the Shriver House... And it would have been such a disappointment if we had missed it!! The artifacts and the tour are a fantastic way to learn about some of the more prominent and involved townspeople during the Battle of Gettysburg. Our tour guide, Miss Debra, was as entertaining as she was knowledgeable! We enjoyed our time there, and we are so GLAD we stopped by! Can't wait to go back!

This was a great tour and location. You get to see more of the civilian side of the war. The guide was excellent and the the price was a value. I would recommend this as part of your trip into history.
