They had the gardening supplies that we were looking for.
I am so happy with Lowe's and the way they treat veterans. When COVID-19 hit they didn't replace their veteran parking spaces with curbside pickup like the orange one did. Instead they kept their veteran parking spaces and opened curbside pickup in other spots. They also have a nice veteran's discount and they thank their veterans every time. As a veteran myself, I greatly appreciate their dedication to taking care of us and making us feel like our prior service is appreciated. They also have a higher quality selection of power tools and hardware parts. Thank you Lowe's!
They were not helpful in finding merchandise. 3 clerks sent me to 3 different places looking for the same item and all were wrong. We and two other customers were run out of an isle while picking out moldings so the two clerks could stock shelves. The paneling we wanted wasn’t available in 4 ‘ lengths and they said the could not cut panels. They told us to go to another store/Lowe’s. We said we would but it wouldn’t be Lowe’s it would be Home Depot. The folks at Home Depot were helpful and were glade to take the $1100 we spent. Customer service is very important. Lowe’s employees should try shopping at Home Depot and learn what customer service is all about.
Usually Lowes does pretty good, but this time I was very disappointed. I went in to possibly purchase a tankless hot water heater, and asked for an expert so that I could learn more about tank vs tankless and determine whether I should continue using a regular tank style or if I should switch to tankless. There wasn't a single expert available. No one I talked to knew anything about hot water heaters. They lost a sale today. Lowe's, you need to hire people who actually know about the products they are selling.
Definitely switching from Home Depot to Lowes. Had exceptional service and knowledge in the paint department. I think the young man's name was Nathan. He was able to navigate between other customers and I and not miss a beat. Super grateful for the experience. We will be back.
