I adopted a St. Bernard who had been dumped in the parking lot. She was very well taken care of at the shelter. Staff was so helpful with having her meet my two dogs. I could not have had a better experience!

This was the worst adoption experience of my life. At first I thought everything was great, the ladies were helpful and even got our adopted dog to the vet sooner than anticipated. We signed everywhere she told us to sign and everything. She told us we could bring him back within 1 week of adopting for any reason. What she left out was that our $100 would be completely gone no matter what amount of time we had the dog. We loved him, I cried when we had to take him back. He attacked our cats and being a soon to be mom, we couldnt take that risk. We paid $175 in total to have this dog LESS THAN 24 hours. They couldnt even do us the kindness of giving us our adoption fee back. Shame on you people. Trust me, you will never see us in there again.

I adopted a 1 year old cat from here. They were very nice and helpful. The process was pretty quick. The cat I adopted is very sweet and loving.nI only gave 4 stars because I also made a complaint about a neighbor with livestock that is really obnoxious. They said these people were given a 10 day notice over a month ago. They still have the animals.

This place is absolutely the worst shelter I’ve been to we recently went in to adopt a very sweet border collie in hopes of a new companion. The service was terrible. We tried three different times to adopt the collie and they wouldn’t allow it. Our third try the lady told us he was sent to the ridgeway shelter when she knew we wanted him. Hope this place goes out of business or someone runs it. This isn’t how a shelter should be they should be helping find the pets good homes. Never going there to adopt again.
