Sewer Scope LLC

I am a real estate agent and was under the gun to get a sewer scope for a client. because of the current competitive environment we are experiencing. I took a chance to have Sewer Scope LLC scope my buyers prospective home during the inspection process and boy did they drop the ball. Not only did they not call me to inform me that they could not scope from the clean out in the yard to the house, but they never even noted it in the report, or that they could not get the scope from the house outwards because it was so clogged (see picture!). This ended up costing my client upwards of eight thousand dollars after the sewer backed up and leaked into her basement.nnAs an agent that prides themselves on hard work, honesty and integrity, I was shocked when we presented our findings to the company and they acted like it was just a matter of a proper clean out. They claimed it was not an error on their part; however, the operations manager admitted the technician made an error and was at fault.nnAs an agent, we put our name on the line for our clients and this negligent handling of the inspection process put's my name in jeopardy. I checked the sewer scope and report and there was no way with my knowledge I would have known the technician did not scope from the house to the city main! The video absolutely made 0 sense. If the technician would have noted the clog, we could have saved my client thousands of dollars and been able to negotiate a new sewer line during the inspection process.nnMy client has had thousands of dollars in damage and has ruined the experience of owning her first home. I am so frustrated that management has not offered to compensate her for this mistake, nor admitted fault (even though they have). I have no recourse as of late, but to write this review, so please, if you are an agent, think twice about using them for your sewer scope.

I absolutely love this company. As a Realtor they are always my first call for helping my clients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Minus 5 Stars - You can do better!nI absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. They left a pipe poorly unsealed. They posted the video – with our address on it – on YouTube WITHOUT PERMISSION. They used bright spray paint on the rocks of the landscape without asking first. Unprofessional. Just awful!

Our neighborhood decided to all schedule sewer line checks and a neighbor recommended Sewer Scope. Matt arrived early (after calling to make sure it was ok) and was super friendly, got to work right away, even though our sewer access was a bit annoying (covered by tile). He did a great job and kept quiet while our 2 year old was asleep. Highly recommend, especially if your home was built in the 90s.

I recommend this company every time I need a sewer scope for clients or myself. We struggled with companies not being on time, and doing a poor job for years before we found them. I am very happy with all of the tech's I have had over the year and gotten to know. They are always on time, pleasant and thorough. The reports are detailed, and the video link is easy to share to others during a real estate deal. Office staff is easy to get ahold of and get things scheduled. They always take the time to be sure everything is satisfactory. The reason for this review at this moment however, is that the owner Joe just caught an issue that several other companies missed. I will continue to recommend them.
