I came to this school for my fifth and sixth grade year. Grades K-5 are fantastic. They are a little slow in academic studies, but they catch up in 4-5 grade because then they bump it up a level. All the grades below are preparing them for those years, and that is when the excel. But then things fall apart. 6-8 grades are not very well organized, and they aren't very stable communities. Math and Language Arts are boring, and you can not find a computer anywhere, which is important because they are key components to adulthood and kids need to be taught how to use them. But otherwise they are a great starting school, especially if your interested in the arts.

I had a horrible time here for my 4th and 5th year. The teachers are extremely rude and hurtful. They do not teach any helpful information like math and science at this school, and they go to extreme lengths to avoid it. I missed 2 years of essential learning which crushed all of my grades and knowledge for middle school. Do not send your kids to this school.

Both of my children attend MPCS and we as a family are so lucky to have found this Charter School. I feel as a parent my children have the opportunity to truly be kids in their play based kindergarten and preschool. The parents and teachers are so invested in this school. I highly recommend this to families that are looking for a Waldorf based education for their children

better known as mountain poo poo I went here 2012-2015 for my 3rd and 4th grade year. Most of the kids had awful behavior, and this was rarely enforced. The school did however have some great benefits, I now know how to knit, play the violin, and had opportunities to do things like participate in school plays. I am happy I did go to this school for 2 years as I overall had a good time, but am glad that I transferred over to Campbell Elementary. When I did transfer over to campbell I soon realized I was behind in many of my core classes, such as math. This school mainly focuses on the arts so expect your kid to be behind the average standards in math, english, science, and social studies. Luckily, in my case, when I left this school I had supportive teachers, and parents to help me get back on track.
