Chad is the best! He makes el Cazo our go to spot at least twice a week for happy hour. Food is great, drinks are phenomenal and top notch happy hour! Would recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried. Perfect location in Jeff park neighborhood.

In all of my life, I always wanted a local watering hole where the staff knew my name and what I wanted to drink. Hats off to you El Cazo, because at 26 years old, I have found it (Who would have thought it would be a place this nice???!?).nnThere are a number of reasons I come here weekly, but the largest ones are the Happy Hour, the food and the staff. Chad (bartender with good chat and great hair), Chino (top notch service with a nice smile) and Nate (world class manager with a great name) all make me and my friends feel welcome and provide quality care while I'm getting ripped on margs. The food, especially the fajitas, flank steak, tacos and salsa, are simply lights out and that's coming from a guy who earned his stripes at numerous taco joints in Phoenix. Lastly, the Happy Hour. All of this great service and fair must come at a high price, right? Nay. It's the best Happy Hour in Denver. $5 quesadillas, $3 tacos and my personal favorite, $6 sliders are all enough for you to be leaving full in the belly, but also in the wallet. In short, it's an absolute spot and will hopefully be a consistent pillar of dining in Jefferson Park for a long time.nnSome quick hits:n- El Chazo Jarrito is quite the cocktail, especially if it is made by El Chazo himself.n- The House red should be called the house (d) red because it's so easy to drink, I'll have 10.n- House marg is good for the long haul, but the Skinny marg is better if you're just drinking one

Our server was super nice and did an amazing job, but the food was very mediocre for $14 a plate.
