The Lodge Casino (must be 21+)

The buffet has a very clever digital line now, when you come, asking for the table, leave your phone number and when the table is ready, they text you. So you don’t have to stand in line. The Friday evening and weekends might be very busy, so make sure get in line for the buffet first as you arrive at those days. And if you come earlier than that, you should be fine getting the table very easy. The crab legs are very tasty, and their ambrosia salad is tasty. I can’t really tell you about the casino itself, cause I’m not a gambler. My husband and I both were there first time, and somehow he got us the free buffet, not sure how. I think it’s a new member thing or something. Anyway, it’s a place worth checking it.

I only wish the blackjack tables limits were lowered to 10

Best senior buffet deal on Mondays. All you can eat 1/2 price. No 1/2 price senior day any longer, so sad! People are nice. Not a gambler so can’t speak to that but, folks seem to be having fun! It’s always busy! A lot of the casinos have done away with them & this was before any pandemic!

Its okay. Never really go here because we never seem to hit on anything here. The casino is nice, never too crowded and good place to go have a good time. Hope you have better luck here than we have had ;)

This is the best place to play in Black Hawk by far. If I'm not playing poker I play here, this place actually pays out. It can be slow at night and overnight, the machines don't pay as well when there is very little action but you see (and get) more handpays here than any other casino on the mountain. Employees are friendly and helpful, I have tried almost all of them and I end up here every time.
