Our family has had a great experience with Leawood Elementary. The teachers, principal and staff are wonderful, warm and caring individuals. The school does a great job communicating news with families and involving parents. It's nice to see so many Dad's volunteering at the crosswalks each day. We also love the after school sports and gymnastics programs offered.
I have three children who have all attended Leawood Elementary. Leawood truly understands that all children learn differently, and the teachers and staff work to make accommodations and help meet the individual needs of each child. The principal has provided leadership in creating a sense of community among the parents and families, which enriches the whole school experience. We feel very lucky to have Leawood as our neighborhood school.
I could not have found a better fit for my sons' education. The staff is amazing, the curriculum is above standards, and the community has welcomed us with open arms. This school exceeds all expectations I sent forth for my children.
We have had a great experience at Leawood! The teachers and staff have all be fantastic from preschool - 1st grade!
All 3 if my children have gone to or are still going to Leawood. We are very impressed with all of the teachers that have taught our kids. Keep it up Lions. Thank you
