Called twice last night because the guy above me was screaming help and throwing things. Then a girl he was with yelled at him to stop and then the guy yelled at her!nnThe Denver police did nothing because the guy wouldn’t come to the door. Second time they knocked on mine instead of his. Cause that helps... great to know they don’t care!!
I am moving my family away from here. Denver Police shot and killed another person last night. I’m more worried of being accidentally shot by the police than an actual criminal. I’ve never lived in a place where there is so little accountability for public servants. I actually walk my children across the street away from law enforcement if I find them in my path. I don’t do that for hardly anything else except maybe a person walking a large dog or pit bull.
Completely unprofessional and untrained
Received a call at 5:22 AM waking me up during my sleep. Called back to make sure there wasn’t an issue with a family member getting into a car wreck and the dispatcher was very snotty. She said I must’ve callled them first and they were responding but there was no out going calls to them or 911 from my phone and she mentioned others had been calling in saying the same thing. They may want to check their systems before getting defensive when scaring citizens that something is wrong with a loved one. I don’t appreciate getting scared out of a deep sleep that something is wrong!
