I forgot how much was in the museum!nSuch a great place to go and there are exhibits there that I didn't even know were there. There's more to see there than you think. But I do admit that there is a lot there that seem like its more just for conference rooms and all.. but it is great.

A wonderful museum! They do a great job rotating exhibits to reflect both Colorado's past and current events. Its a fantastic place to practice social distancing and still be inside on cold winter days.

I always love visiting the History Colorado Museum! I was last there around 2017, so they have new exhibits and art installations, including one about the history ans culture of the Ute Nation, Hecho en Colorado (pieces created by Chicano/a/x, latino/a/x artists), and an exhibit with hundred items celebrating the centennial state. They even had some great art installations by Gregg Deal and Adri Norris.nnSo Powerful. And even though some of the interactive stuff was closed down or required styluses to interact with, it was still a good time, and many powerful moments.nnDon't want to spoil the whole museum for you, so here are only a few pictures to hopefully convince you how worthwhile it is to go right now!

Timed entry was great, the museum was not very crowded and I definitely felt safe. Styluses were provided for the touch screen interactive exhibits which was really nice, and staff were keeping things clean and regularly wiping down surfaces. As usual, the exhibits were interesting and informative, and I particularly enjoyed the new democracy exhibit.

We were able to visit for free because the had free admission on the weekends until election day. The museum was very informative. There was an exhibit that showed 100 items that represented Colorado.
