To say this establishment is simply wonderful, would be an understatement. I sincerely love every moment I have the chance to spend at Fifty Two 80s. The nostalgia is all around you and the depth of the 80s collection is nothing short of amazing. The owners (Tony and Dede) passion for the venue shows through in their dedication to detail, kindness to customers and willingness to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. If you are looking to visit a unique shop in the Denver area, this one should be on the top of your short list. It’s an experience that will take you back to the wonderful 1980s, and one you won’t soon forget.
I’m a nerdy 90s kid with a love for nostalgic knickknacks, and this place perfectly scratches that itch.
My favorite shop in Denver! Their selection of 80s and 90s nostalgia are second to none, the owners are knowledgeable and helpful, and in the years (and YEARS!) I’ve purchased items from them they’ve always been fair and honest with their pricing. A true gem of the Mile High City, I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s an absolute must visit if you want to grab some great merchandise (and enjoy a rad blast from the past!) Check it out!!! You’ll love it!!! :)
The lady who owns the place is quite lovely and fun to converse with about all the fun items. She is happy to help and answer any questions you may have. The shop really does take you back to when you were a kid, plan on spending an hour perusing. I had fun taking my 7 year old and hearing her say how we liked weird toys lol. Support a local business and guy buy some stuff you don't need but want! Great place to pick up fun gifts too.
A wonderful wonderful store, had almost all of the items I had hoped for and more. It is a small space, yes, but there’s enough in there to keep you occupied for hours. Very friendly and informed staff. Everything is reasonably priced for what it is- you may find something for cheaper on eBay, but there’s no guarantee that it’ll be in great condition like their inventory. It’s not a thrift store, they specialize in collectible toys that are in great shape and ready to go on your shelf, whether they be loose or MIB. Absolutely an amazing shop, it looks like a lot of dreams I’ve had and I can’t wait to go back.
