Mrs. Carreon is the best teacher our son has ever had. Excellent!! Other teachers, even gifted and talented did not challenge him as well as she did and in such a well-rounded way!
Excellent school. Principal Hepp is great. I have had three kids in this school and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The teachers really care about the kids here. Highly recommended.
THIS SCHOOLS ONLY ISSUE IS THE PRINCIPLE. There are a few good teachers left here but most have quit , some because of the issues with the female principle. This school caters mostly to SPECIAL NEEDS children, even though it does not advertise this ! If your child does not have SPECIAL NEEDS/ISSUES you may NOT want to send them to this school. THESE PEOPLE PROVED TO ME THAT THEY COULD NOT STOP CHILDREN FROM HURTING OTHER CHILDREN. FAIRNESS and Equality is given to the students and parents who dont complain to the PRINCIPLE, the ones She favors. She is not fair or just. SHE HAS FAVORITES ...PARENTS if you have no standing positive relationship with this principle already GO SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE YOUR CHILD DESERVES BETTER!
I thought they were doing a Cherry Drive (like a food or can drive, you know) so I brought a pickup truck full of Cherries and dropped them off out front. They were very upset and the cops were called. Maybe they should think about the name of the school and see it was a simple misunderstanding rather than being so upset.
it was ok. 0 bullies but it was very hard to make friends, certain teachers are not nice and do not answer questions. The pressure of this school is very bad because i had constantly gotten homework (in ridiculous amounts) i had always been stressed worrying about homework. I would stay up at nights worrying about assignments which would lead me to be tired in the day, i was always forgetting about assignments and the app they give us on our ipads didnt help, it would give you a notification but usually i was doing homework or using my freetime to my liking. Some teachers are not dedicated and i found my 2nd and 3rd grade years to be pretty good. Ms.gonci is probably the best teacher i have had considering that she was nice, dedicated, and was just in general great as a teacher, this is probably why 2nd grade was my best year (in terms of grades). My worst teacher was most likely ms.loffler (might be the wrong name since i can not remember because she left). she would yell, not answer questions, and would give us assignments that did not help our learning. I was horrible in 1st grade because of her. I think that the MAPS testing program was pretty good. The school gets tons of money from donations and earnings but they spend on stuff like the teachers lounge, or the supply of soda they have (they have cartons of soda in the storage rooms but it does not go to the teachers lounge or the cafeteria). They just slurp up money they get and spend it on stuff that is not important. in 2015-14 they got a grant of 100,000 american dollars and it was for the playground. They only spent roughly 10,000 dollars on the playground and we only got 2 rocks, 2 bugs, and a anthill. Cherry Drive in short is just a greedy giant who does not care about students or teachers
