I would give -1 stars if possible.nThey always forget to tell you your Miranda Rights so you can get your case thrown out just an FYI...nSeems more and more like a legalized mafia there in District 5. Can’t wait for the elections for tighter oversight and control over the mentally ill officers that are on patrol in D5.

Called for a civil assist. Operator told me theres no available officers. I got assaulted by my sons mothers boyfriend. Called back and no one still came to help. Heading to emergency room now. This department is not here to help. Avoid them at all cost!

So you have 5 cars down the road pulling people over and handing out tickets. But I call to report a nasty accident that is causing major traffic problems and hazards, yet I'm on hold for 30 minutes and then told there is little to be done.nnWhat are the police for again?
