Hello I am a parent who was chaperoning my kid’s field trip from Kemp Elementary today around Commerce City. And I would like to commend the heroism of Officer Trujillo for saving the lives of two elderly people who were completely unaware that there truck was on fire. The whole class was sitting having a snack in front of Lester Arnold High School when he came flying up and jumped out of his car yelled your truck is on fire and pulled them out. Not only did he save the lives of those two people but possibly the lives of all the kids, we were fifteen feet from the truck and was about to walk that way. So way to go Officer Gabriel Trujillo you are one outstanding Police officer.nnSincerely,nEdward Kluge.
commerce city police are good at staking out citizens to ticket for the smallest offenses, harassing local businesses and shooting dogs. not much else.
